We, a group of Indigenous Jumma people from Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHTs) migrated and living in different parts of USA. We believe recognition of the inherent dignity, respect and value of the equal and inalienable rights of all human is the way of building peace and freedom.
We declare solidarity with other Adivasi or indigenous people around the world. We share their value, rights and dignity and we express our support for those suffering from discrimination.
Our activities are mainly to focus the indigenous Jumma people’s culture, tradition, way of life and human rights violation against minorities’ particularly indigenous Jumma people of Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHTs) of Bangladesh. We also support other indigenous people who are being denied from their rights.
Our campaign is to publish to the global community and to prevent discrimination, persecutions, human rights violation against Jumma People. Our aim is to preserve, defend and promote social, cultural, civil, political, economical rights of the Jumma indigenous nationalities living in the CHTs and abroad.
We explore and expose the CHTs minority indigenous Jumma people’s culture, tradition, religion, human rights violation, tyranny and oppression and demand government and other legal authorities to take action to end such illegal and inhuman practices and bring those perpetrators to justice and to respect International Human Rights laws.
We pursue our objectives by building a network with those individuals and organizations that support and promote the minority indigenous Jumma people’s heritage, human rights and by appealing to governments, international organizations and world leaders to end human rights violation against minorities and indigenous peoples of Bangladesh.
